Helen Anna Wozarik was born on June 12, 1929 in New York City, New York to Joseph and Anna Simulcik. She passed away on Monday December 14, 2020 at the Cardinal Court Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Strongsville.

Helen graduated from Sharon Springs Central School in 1947. As a teenager, she moved to New York City while her family moved to Ohio. She worked as a clerk at the General Electric Company for many years prior to retiring in 1978. Following her retirement, she moved to Ohio where she resided in Amherst Township for forty-one years. She enjoyed family, travel, the theater, gardening, and debating politics. Many commented on how they loved her New York accent.

Helen is survived by her brother Joseph Simulcik of Lorain, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, William, daughter Mary, born in 1955, and sister Irene (Ralph) Moorman.
