Jerelyn Joy Scott (nee Gresko), 58, of Lorain, died Saturday March 24, 2018 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born April 11, 1959 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Jerelyn was a 1977 graduate of Southview High School in Lorain.  She worked as an Investigator for Lorain County Veterans Services for almost 28 years.  She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Vermilion and a past member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain.  She enjoyed reading and her pet cats Ozzie and Morticia.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years William M. Scott; sister Janice I Sedely (John) of Berlin Heights; brother Gerald L. Gresko of Lorain and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents John and Irene Gresko (nee Laney) and brother John R. Gresko.
