 James H. Mitchell, 73, of Lorain, died Sunday February 28, 2010 at Community Regional Medical Center in Lorain.He was born May 31, 1936 in Pennsylvania and had resided in Lorain since 1962. James served with the US Air Force from 1955 to 1960. He worked in the paint department at the Ford Assembly Plant in Lorain before retiring. He enjoyed golf. He is survived by his wife Barbara J. Mitchell (nee Booth), daughter Jamie Mitchell of Elyria, son Tim Mitchell (Staci) of Sylvania, grandson Robert James Scott of Lorain, mother Etta Mitchell-Hoopes (Bernard) (nee Dillinger) of Latrobe, Pennsylvania and brothers Ron Mitchell (Rena) of Lorain, Jerry Mitchell (Alice) of Avon Lake and Jeff Hoopes and Bernie Hoopes (Theresa), all of Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his father James Mitchell, sister Diane Hoopes and brothers Richard Mitchell and Domer Mitchell. |
